New Lithium Ion PowerTap 2000 Portable Power Source

Boulder Power Technologies' PowerTap 2000, a mobile, Lithium ion power source, is now available nationally. Designed to displace gasoline-powered generators with clean, quiet no-emissions power, the PowerTap 2000 can operate everything from construction tools and outdoor sound and lighting systems to appliances. The company launched the PowerTap 2000 in the Colorado market in March to gain early customer user-experience and feedback.

powertap 2000“The use of alternative power solutions that are portable, renewable and 100-percent clean is growing quickly and the feedback we received form our initial Colorado customers has been extremely positive,” said Darren is Johnston, Chief Operating Officer for Boulder Power Technologies. “Through our launch and early success word has spread of our technology and we now have the distribution and partner network in place to support the PowerTap 2000 nationally.”

The PowerTap 2000 uses cutting-edge Lithium Ion battery technology to deliver portable power where and when needed, with “zero-noise/zero-emissions” and without the fumes and cost of gasoline. It's easy to use, can be wheeled into place and costs "just pennies-per-use," according to the company.

The power source provides up to 6000 watts of power (2000 watts continuously), recharges through a standard electrical outlet, with a full charge taking 90 minutes. It provides up to 12 hours of uninterrupted power for power tools, pumps and other equipment. Designed and manufactured in the United States, it's backed by a one-year warranty.
