New Tool Master Model Added to Hyundai's Wheel Loader Line

Hyundai Construction Equipment Americas' HL955TM wheel loader is the company's seventh model in its line for North America and its second Tool Master model. It features Hyundai’s Tool Master boom design, with dual linkage for increased lifting capacity, improved load stability, rapid dumping capability and enhanced visibility.

The machine uses a Cummins QSB6.7 Tier 4 Final engine rated at 199 hp. It includes Hyundai’s proprietary onboard weighing system, which is accurate to +/- 1 percent. The system has automatic and manual settings for monitoring individual and cumulative bucket load weights, providing reliable load-weight monitoring. Featurs such as the company's Eco Pedal and Eco Gauge help reduce fuel consumption by 10 percent.

“The HL955TM provides the power, productivity and ease of operation customers have come to expect from Hyundai,” said Corey Rogers, marketing manager, Hyundai Construction Equipment Americas.  “Like the other models in our HL series, the HL955TM provides an exceptional operator environment, productivity enhancements and operating efficiencies.”

The large, quiet cab includes a seven-inch interactive touch-screen monitor, enhanced climate control, fully adjustable and heated air-ride seat, centralized control switches and significant in-cab sound reduction. The cab has been reconfigured for additional floor space and improved visibility. For added operator comfort, in-cab sound levels were reduced by 3 dB, making this one of the quietest cabs in the industry.

Ergonomically positioned operator switches, controls and other features make it easier to quickly access critical functions. An improved rearview camera delivers higher resolution and enhanced nighttime visibility.

The machine has a three-year, 3,000-hour standard warranty and five-year, 5,000-hour structural warranty. Hyundai also includes three years of free access to its Hi-Mate remote management system which provides a variety of remote monitoring and diagnostic services.
