Updated Tier 4 Final Wheel Loaders from CASE

CASE announced that its 621F and 721F wheel loaders now meet Tier 4 Final emissions standards. Each model uses a selective catalytic reduction (SCR) solution that treats emissions separately with Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) and does not require the engine to re-circulate exhaust gas.

case 721 wheel loader t4FSCR helps improve fuel efficiency up to 20 percent, lowers exhaust temperatures and provides faster throttle response and simplified maintenance without sacrificing power, the company says. It requires no diesel particulate filter (DPF) regeneration or maintenance. The two new loaders use a 6.7-liter engine, with the 621F producing 162 hp and the 721F producing 179 hp. Both machines are also available with XT (tool carrier) or XR (extended reach) linkage and specialty configurations for even greater versatility and productivity.

The SCR design eliminates manual diesel particulate filter (DPF) regeneration and associated downtime. SCR also results in extended time between service intervals because lower temperatures result in slower degradation of lubricating oil. A standard engine shutdown feature on each model allows the operator to limit engine idle time.

The 621F and 721F wheel loaders feature powerful and quick hydraulics, and four programmable power modes that allow users to match the machine output to available engine power. The loaders include heavy-duty axles with auto-locking front and open rear differentials. An optional “Efficiency Package” that includes a five-speed transmission with lock-up torque converter for faster road travel speed, acceleration and shorter cycle times, as well as axles with auto locking differential and advanced system programming.

The 621F and 721F feature climate control cabs and award-winning joystick steering option that helps reduce operator fatigue. Floor-to-ceiling windows provide excellent visibility to attachments. The machines have eye-level fluid gauges and ground-level service points. The mid-mounted cooling module limits debris buildup and provides easy access for routine cleaning. And a standard, electronically controlled power-tilt hood makes access to the engine compartment easy.

Each wheel loader is covered under CASE ProCare – a suite of product assurances that include a three-year Advanced CASE SiteWatch telematics subscription, a three-year/3,000-hour full machine factory warranty and a three-year/3,000-hour planned maintenance contract. ProCare allows business owners to invest in new equipment while helping to make owning and operating costs predictable for the first three years of ownership.
