Allen Introduces New Riding Trowel
The new MSP 470 from Allen Manufacturing, a hydraulic-steering, mechanical-drive riding trowel, is one of several new products for 2014.
The trowel is diesel-powered, has a patent-pending torque converter clutch system, heavy-duty gearboxes and Spiders, plus ergonomically-designed raised operator platform and joystick steering.
Standard features include:
- Hydraulic power steering with independent manual pitch controls
- 44 HP air-cooled Kubota diesel engine
- Two 46" diameter, 5-blade non-overlapping rotors
- Rotor speeds up to 180 RPM
- Electric spray system to apply retardant
- Cruise control
- Six-gallon fuel/retardant capacities
