You can download a pdf of the Report here. Based on the Rouse Value Index, used equipment prices are showing softness but, with the index now at 45.3, they still remain higher than the June 2009 trough of 29.7 while business was still in the throes of The Great Recession.  The previous peak, Rouse notes, was 43.3 in April of 2007. The current index is 4.7% higher.

August auction results of the equipment Rouse tracks show a "moderation of the recent downward trend," according to the Report. It's the fifth consecutive month of declining auction recoveries, but shows "a stabilized environment."
