PERC Doubles Propane Mower Incentive
Beginning this month if you add a propane-powered mower to your rental fleet, PERC (Propane Education and Research Council) is offering a $2,000 incentive. The program runs thorugh Dec. 31, 2014.
The incentive program has been a valuable asset to those who buy propane-powered mowers, whether it's one or a fleet, said Jeremy Wishart, deputy director of business development for PERC. “Propane already offers significant fuel and maintenance savings over conventional fuels, and now through our doubled incentive, you can realize an even faster ROI.”
Since the program’s inception in 2012, more than 500 buyers have received incentive dollars in exchange for data about their usage and mower performance. If you're planning on attending GIE+EXPO to see what's new for your landscape contractor customers, the PERC booth will be displaying several pieces of propane-powered equipment, including Exmark, Grasshopper, Gravely, Toro, and Walker mowers; a Generac portable generator; and Kohler dedicated propane engines.
