Iron & Oak Announces Log Splitter Winner
Jon Broas of Aâ€1 Express Rental Center, Eau Claire, Wis., won an Iron & Oak BHVH2213GX horizontal/vertical log splitter, given away at The Rental Show 2015 in New Orleans. Broas was one of 5,870 attendees from 2,513 rental businesses who attended this year's event.
According to Iron & Oak, the log splitter is one of its top selling products. It's powered by a 163cc Honda GX160 engine and has a cycle time of 12 seconds. A 6â€inch Hâ€beam and laser-cut 7.5â€inch splitting wedge deliver improved quality and durability.It has a 4â€inch x 24â€inch clevis cylinder and 1.75â€inch cylinder rod. A 9.5 gallon hydraulic tank assures the unit runs cool. The log splitter comes standard with log dislodger to help eject any log that sticks to the wedge which also protects the control valve and other hydraulic components.
