General Equipment M-Series grinders
General Equipment Company’s M-Series surface grinders feature a convenient, versatile magnetic tooling system and are designed for use by contractors and homeowners alike.

These low-speed surface grinders are compatible with a wide range of industry-standard magnetic type attachments, including those in General’s Magnetach tooling system or attachments utilizing the Lavina/Edco magnetic mount tooling.

The M-Series line includes five different single- and dual-head grinders: the single-head, electric-driven SG12EM (1.5 hp, 115 VAC, 60 Hz); the dual-head, electric-driven SG24EM (2 hp, 115/230 VAC, 60 Hz); the dual-head, electric-driven SG24E3HP50M (2.5 hp, 220 VAC, 50 Hz); the dual-head, electric-driven SG24E3HP60M (3.0 hp, 230 VAC, 60 Hz); and the dual-head, gas-powered SG24GHM (13-hp Honda GXV370 4-stroke engine). They offer the same reliable performance and extreme durability of General’s long-established line of Legacy Series grinders, but use magnetic retention for quickly and easily switching attachments, instead of the traditional wedge system.

Compatible attachments within General’s Magnetach Tooling System include a PCD Coatings Removal System, Tungsten Carbide Coatings Removal System and Diamond Segment Diamond Grinding System. These attachments make the grinders ideal for a wide variety of surface preparation projects, including grinding concrete (green to fully cured) and removing various thin-film coatings, epoxies, thin-to-medium glues, mastics, urethanes, concrete levelers and paint.
