The Bomag BMP 8500 offers an Economizer option that ensures quality and uniform compaction every time, saving time and money. It gives continuous control and reduces effort by 25 percent because the operator knows how well the job is compacted and when to move on.
The Bomag BMP 8500 uses its Ecomode feature idles the engine if the remote control does not send a control signal for a few seconds when in travel mode. It offers up to 25 percent in fuel costs. The machine will stop when it is 4 feetfrom the operator; it also has automatic shutdown/roll-over protection for ultimate reliability and availability on cross slopes greater than 45 degress.
Serviceability has never been easier with BMP 8500 maintenance-free articulation, protected wiring and foldable central electronics. The fully encased exciter housing prevents water and dirt ingress as well as abrasion proection to the hydraulic hoses. This increases operational safety and prevents costly repair work over the long term.
