1.5-ton compact excavator

Wacker Neuson adds the ET16 compact excavator to its line.

It offers a large cab that is ergonomically designed for operator comfort and productivity. With its compact footprint and telescopic undercarriage the unit can be adjusted from 39 to 51 inches, providing stability when extended and then allows for maneuverability in tight quarters when retracted.

The 1.5-ton-class ET16 is powered by a 17.7 horsepower, 3-cylinder Yanmar diesel engine and provides a bucket breakout force of 3,439 pounds and a maximum digging depth if 7-feet, 11-inches with the long dipperstick.

The swivel boom provides the ability to excavate near buildings and job site obstructions.

The two-piece sliding front windshield protects the operator from water, dust and wind when closed, as well as optimal ventilation and easy communication in the open position.

A load-sensing hydraulic system (LUDV) ensures consistent flow regardless of engine speed or load changes, providing excellent results and handling especially when precision matters.

The two-speed drive system provides for fast transport. Due to its compact size, the ET16 can be transported on a small trailer from site to site.
